    Abstract for Prof. Peter Eades' Invited Talk: How to get a PhD in Computer Science

    Every research student in Computer Science faces a number of challenges: how to find a supervisor, which research area to choose, what research methodology to use, how to give a talk, how to write a conference paper, and ultimately, how to write a thesis. In this talk we discuss some generic guidelines for these problems.
