17.2.1. Acknowledgements

This project has grown out of the Computer Science resource guides on http://nzacditt.org.nz/resources, which was a jointly funded project by the NZ Ministry of Education and all the Computer Science departments in NZ universities. Funding for this online textbook has been provided by Google Inc. In addition, countless hours of volunteer time have been contributed by those listed above. A lot of the work on this material was done while Tim Bell was visiting Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, whom we thank for providing an excellent environment for writing. The project is based at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand; other authors are at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and Cambridge University, UK.
