Abstract
Time is a compelling mechanism to organise and retrieve documents. As time is pervasive, people do not have to expend effort in organising documents by time, and people easily remember the order of events.
In this seminar the benefits and problems of different document retrieval techniques are discussed, with particular emphasis on how time is used as a retrieval cue.
