Evaluating Intelligent Education Systems

Abstract

It is vitally important to evaluate Intelligent Education Systems to ensure the complexity of building them is worth the effort. We also use micro-evaluation to gauge the effectiveness of enhancements so they can be accepted or rejected. Like all end-user systems, evaluation is hard because users do not always behave predictably. We will discuss the methods we use for evaluating our systems, the results we have obtained and the problems we have encountered.
