Abstract
WETAS is an Intelligent Tutoring System shell that automates all of the domain-independent functions of an ITS, freeing up the author to concentrate on modelling the domain and providing content. Recently we have also added WETAS-Ontology, a tool for authors that makes it easier to build the domain model. WETAS has now been used to build a number of tutors. We will demonstrate some of the systems built with WETAS and discuss our experiences using WETAS-Ontology as an educational resource for would-be ITS authors at the e-Learning summer school in Dublin this year.
