Abstract
This talk will give an overview of research going on at the Human-Computer Interaction lab at the University of Saskatchewan. I'll talk about (and show) a number of projects - rich embodiments for groupware, the Magic Window, groupware message compression, tabletop cutouts, ListMaps, the perspective cursor, above-the-table interaction techniques, and communityware. The common thread through all these projects is that I am interested in understanding and improving the real-world usability of interactive systems. I'll also show pictures of "the worst blizzard to hit Saskatoon in fifty years..."
