Abstract

Physical Sciences Library staff will provide an introduction to the library's people, resources and services, highlighting recent changes and library news relevant to the CSSE department. Particular focus will be given to information literacy and how the library, in conjunction with the academic department, can help students to make best use of the resources available to support their learning. There will also be some discussion of not only changes taking place in the UC Library but also the larger world of information and on how library collection decisions may impact upon the Department. The session will conclude with a question and answer session and hopefully some one-on-one between library staff and the faculty staff and research students. All CSSE people welcome!
