Digital Lectures Research Group
Research Goal
The purpose of this group is to explore flexible methods for the delivery of lectures by recording live lectures on digital media, and making them available to students either for review afterwards, or to allow distribution to those who cannot attend lectures. Issues that are being explored include- effective ways to record a lecture unobtrusively (including recording material displayed on audio-visual aids),
- ways to deliver the lectures to students (on disk or through the internet), and
- pedagogically sound formats to allow students to view the lectures (including indexing and linking to notes).
