CFP: Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC2001) and Special Session on Image, Speech and Pattern Recognition, in Seoul, Korea, May 27-30, 2001.

 CEC2001 Special Session on Image, Speech, and Pattern Recognition
 Applications
 
 Congress on Evolutionary Computation - CEC is one of the major
international
 conferences
 on Evolutionary Computation and will be held in Seoul, Korea, May
27-30,
 2001.
 The conference web site is at http://cec2001.kaist.ac.kr/
 
 This special session will focus on the applications of evolutionary
 computation to all
  areas of image processing, speech and speaker recognition, signal
 processing, and
  pattern recognition.  Combinations of evolutionary computation,
fuzzy-set
 theory,
  neural networks, statistical, and numerical methods for solving
problems in
 the above
  areas are also among the topics of interest in this special session.
 
 1. Submission Procedure: Papers are to be submitted directly to this
Special
 Session Organizer, whose contact information is given below, in either
hard
 copies (three copies for each paper)
 or by e-mailing (postscript, pdf, or MS Word).  Manuscripts are limited
to 8
 pages of A4 size in
 two-column format including figures and references using12-point Times
Roman
 font.
 All papers will be reviewed and accepted papers in this special session
will
 be published
 in the CEC2001 Proceedings.

 3. Notification of Acceptance: 12 February 2001
