                           electronic versions PAPER SUBMISSION AND PARTICIPATION
=================================== Participation of both researchers and practitioners is strongly encouraged. Papers may be submitted on:
     - Research in science and engineering;
     - Case studies drawn on academic and professional practice;
     - Position papers based on new techniques for multimedia.
Contributions showing new multimedia architectures, techniques and developments using clusters are
specially welcomed. Extended abstracts or paper drafts should be sent taking into account the following SCI2000 format:
     1.- Major theme of the paper, related to the major themes given above.
     2.- Paper title.
     3.- Author names, addresses, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address.
     3.- Extended abstract of 500 to 1500 words and/or paper drafts of 2000 to 5000 words, in English. To submit a contribution to the invited session, please send an email to the session organizer

with the subject "MCW-2001 contribution". The contribution should be in an attached
file in PDF or PS format (preferably viewable by ghostview). Hard copies should be sent only if electronic
submission is not possible and it should be agreed in advance with the session organizer. Please, send a separate email with authors' names, addresses and title of the paper. Submission implies the willingness, of at least one of the authors, to register and to present the paper.

Submitted papers will be checked. Accepted papers, which should not exceed six single- spaced typed pages,
will be published by means of paper and electronic proceedings. Best papers will be selected for awards and
recommended for journal publications.
