Asian International Mobile Computing Conference was initiated to
provide a platform for people from developing and developed countries
to meet and discuss issues of common interests.  Following the success
of the first conference, AMOC 2000, the second conference will be held
in Langkawi on 14-17 May, 2002. AMOC 2002 aims to bring together
researchers, academics and professionals in the field of mobile
communications from Asia, Europe and America.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to, those listed
below:

o Economic pricing of wireless networks
o Handover & location management
o M-commerce
o Mobile internet access
o Personal Area Network
o Personal Communication Systems

o Quality of Service(QoS)

Important Dates

Paper submission deadline : 30 September, 2001
Paper notification of acceptance : 15 January, 2002
Camera ready copy : 15 February, 2002


Submission Guidelines
--------------------------------------
Papers should be original, unpublished and not more than ten
single-spaced pages with a minimum font size of 10 pt. Papers should
be submitted in postscript format, and should only contain the paper
title and the body of the paper, WITHOUT author names and
affiliations. A separate document containing only the title, abstract,
author names and their respective affiliations, in plain text format,
is required. Please send your paper (in postscript format) and your
separate author page (in plain text format) in separate emails to
amoc-submission@fsktm.um.edu.my by the 30 September, 2001.

Best Student Paper Award
------------------------
The best paper with a student as primary author will be awarded a
prize of US$500 during the conference. Student authors who would like
to be considered for this award should write 'Student Paper' in the
plain text document containing the paper title and author name(s) and
affiliation(s).
