Dear Colleagues,
I am glad to announce that the DCABES 2001 international conference
has been supported by the Science and Technology ministry of Chinese
Government. The ratify number is No. (2001)0315 (" 国家科学技术部
国科外审字(2001)0315号 " in Chinese).
So this means the DCABES 2001 is a formal official event in Wuhan
China. I sincerely invite you to take part in the conference, to take
this chance visiting China.
Finally the DCABES 2001 will help to arrange a sightseeing trip,
say, to the famous Yangtze River Three Gorges (it will disappeared by a
huge 200m-height dam in 2003) or some place else. Please schedule your
time table, considering a sightseeing time...

You are invited to submit an extended abstract (4 to 5 pages) All
accepted abstracts should be extended in to a full paper by the author,
which will be published as a proceedings book to be distributed at the
conference. Selected papers will also be considered for journal
publication soon after the Symposium.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS:
Prospective authors are invited to submit Four copies
of their draft paper (about 4 to 5 pages) to Guo Qingping or
Chen Xianqiao (address is given below) by the deadline.
Papers will be refereed.
E-mail and Fax submissions are also acceptable. Electronic
submission
is much preferred.
The length of the Camera-Ready papers (if accepted) will be
limited to
6 pages. Papers must not have been previously published
or currently submitted for publication elsewhere.
The first page of the draft paper should include:
title of the paper, name, affiliation, postal address,
E-mail address, telephone number, and Fax number for
each author. The first page should also include the
name of the author who will be presenting the paper
(if accepted) and a maximum of 6 keywords.
EVALUATION PROCESS:
Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance,
clarity, and soundness. Each paper will be refereed by
three researchers in the topical area. The Camera-Ready
papers will be reviewed by one person.
PUBLICATION:
The DCABES 2001 Symposium Proceedings will be published by
Wuhan University of Technology Press (ISBN) in hardcopy.
The Proceedings will be available at the Symposium site.
Selected papers will also be considered for journal
publication soon after the Symposium. In addition to the
hardcopy of the Proceedings, it is also planned to publish
the papers on a CD.

LOCATION OF THE SYMPOSIUM of the DCABES 2001:
The Symposium will be held in the Campus of WUT, Wuhan, China.
Wuhan is at the center of China, which is near the world
famous Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Lushan mountain, and
Zhangjiajie Mountain. The conference organizer will be able
to arrange a sight-seeing trip. Details to be available later.
