The second IEEE Pacific-Rim Conference on  Multimedia will be held in
Beijing in the coming"golden autumn."  Theresponse to the Call for
Papers
was overwhelming.  From over 200 regular submissions and 40 special
sessions submissions, we  have composed a strong technical program
covering
all areas of multimedia research,  development and applications. In
addition to regular paper sessions, special  sessions and poster and
demos
sessions, there will be 4 keynote speeches,  one panel and 4 state of
the
art tutorials. Please visit the conference web  site for more

You are kindly invite  to join us in this exciting event in Beijing to
enjoy exchange of research ideas  with your international colleagues,
tour
the historical city and  experience the rich cultural activities.  The
conference registration site  is in function now and the authors
pre-registration deadline (June 30) and  early registration deadline
(August 3) are quick approaching.
