FYI: an ACM Award for our graduate student

Carl Cook has received an ACM Travel Award to attend a prestigious 
ACM SIGCOMM 2001 Conference, the annual conference of the Special 
Interest Group on Data Communication, to be held at the University 
of California in San Diego, CA, USA, between August 27 and  August 
31, 2001.

This is a single-track, highly selective conference (only 11.3% of 
submitted papers have been accepted this year), tutorials by noted 
instructors on the two days prior, panel discussions, and over 550 
participants this year.

Carl, congratulations  !
