CONFERENCE CITY
The 8th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC'2003) is being
held in the Kemer district of the city Antalya, Turkey in 2003. Because of
the archeological and natural richness of the area, Antalya is sometimes
called the Turkish Riviera. The sea and sun, nature and history all come
together in magical harmony here where one can enjoy the best and cleanest
beaches on the Mediterranean. Kemer is an important tourism center with many
resorts, restaurants and beach facilities, yacht ports and historical cities
to visit.
CONFERENCE VENUE
The conference hotel is the Limra Hotel which is located in Kiris, Kemer
which is approximately 60 kilometers from the Antalya Airport and 50
kilometers from the city center of Antalya.
Continuing the tradition of this series of symposia, ISCC'2003 will provide
an international technical forum for experts from industry and academia to
exchange ideas and present results of ongoing research in the areas listed
below. This year, special focus will be on the challenging issues related to
the creation, management, dissemination, and communication of information.
You are invited to submit a full paper, or a proposal for a panel, invited
session, or tutorial, related to the following topics:

- Multimedia Information Management and Exchange
- Cable Telephony and Broadband Services
- Network Design, Operation, and Management
- Control and Optimization of Communication Systems
- Network Reliability and Quality of Service

- Programmable and Active Networks
- Distributed Systems Architecture and Management
- Security, Privacy and Information Access
- Electronic Commerce
- Signal Processing in Communications and Networking
- High Performance Networking and Protocols
- Software Testing and Reliability
- Internet Services and Applications
- Web-based Systems and Network Management
- Management of Information Technology
- Wireless, Cellular and Mobile Communications
Papers should describe original work, and be 20 double-spaced pages (5,000
words) or less in length. A concise and representative abstract should be
included. The paper should clearly indicate the complete postal and
electronic mailing addresses, as well as the phone and fax numbers of the
corresponding author. Paper submissions must be made electronically via the
WEB, in either postscript or PDF format. Hardcopy or e-mailed submissions
will not be accepted. To submit a paper, please follow the submission
guidelines which will be available at the conference WEB site
