Applied Probability Society (APS) will hold its eleventh conference in
New York City at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on July 25 - July 27, 2001
(Wednesday-Friday).
The conference is co-sponsored by the Center for Applied probability
(CAP) at Columbia University

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Two kinds of submissions will be accepted:
1. proposals for organized sessions;
2. proposals for single papers.
A proposal for an organized session should include one-page abstracts
for all
presentations (20 minutes each). A proposal for a paper should
include a one-page abstract.
(ONE PRESENTATION PER AUTHOR.)
All submissions will be reviewed by a program committee. The authors
will
be notified of the program committee's decision by February 15, 2001.
DEADLINES FOR ABSTRACTS:
November 15, 2000, Submission of organized session title, list
of participants and title of presentations.
December 15, 2000 Submission of abstract(s) for single papers and
organized sessions.
February 15, 2001, Acceptance notification
