Overview
---------
Parallel algorithms have become a standard tool for scientific
applications. Many hard scientific computations would be impossible
to perform without the use of parallel computers. This technical session
of ICCSA is dedicated to the design, implementation, and experimental
evaluation of coarse grained parallel algorithms for scientific
applications.
Topics of Interest include
--------------------------
- parallel algorithms in computational biochemistry
- parallel algorithms in scientific simulations
- parallel algorithms in computational fluid dynamics
- parallel algorithms in geographic information systems
- parallel algorithms in data intensive, external memory, applications
- parallel algorithms in data mining and on-line analytical processing
Session Chair
