Research Laboratory on Network Management, Performance and Simulation

The Research Laboratory on Network Management, Performance and Simulation consists of two interdepartmental research groups, the Network Research Group and the Simulation Research Group, comprising academics and students from CSSE, ECE and Management. These two groups are engaged in interdisciplinary research spanning such ICT topics as computer science, computer engineering, industrial engineering and management. Current research projects are in the areas of multimedia communications networks, the Internet, grid processing, and distributed computer simulation.

Currently, both the Network Research Group and the Simulation Research Group are involved in the PlanetLab NZ project.
