My study leave

I was on study leave during the first six months of 2003. I was granted a University Teacher Grant by Rotary International, and spent 4 months working as a visiting professor at the Computer Science Department, School of Electronic Engineering, the University of Nis, Serbia and Montenegro. I taught two courses, one on databases, and the other on artificial intelligence.

I shared the office with Prof Dr Slobodanka Djordjevic-Kajan, who is the leader of the Computer Graphics and GIS lab.

The full report on my leave is available here.

I gave an interview to the local newspaper (Narodne novine, 21-22.6.2003).

I donated a PC and some books to the school.

Here are some photos with my students in Serbia.

At the beginning of March, I was invited to give a talk at the YUINFO conference. Here is a photo taken during the talk.
